The Superfest Disability Film Festival is the longest-running film festival focused
on disability issues in the world, celebrating cinema that portrays different types
of disability through a diverse and engaging lens. The festival debuted in Los
Angeles in 1970 and is now an international event. Superfest prioritizes access,
welcoming filmgoers of all kinds and abilities. All films are offered with open
captioning and audio description to make them as accessible as possible
